Finally FIRETRUCKS!!!!

I am a bit of a planner, I started my little guys party planning in April and his party way this past Sunday (October)...maybe a little ocd :-) So since it finally came to fruition I thought I would share some pictures of how great all the came out. 

I was unsure about the blue when I started designing the files but I really like how the colors all went together!

The cupcake tower was just the simple cardboard ones you can get at the craft store for less than $5 and I hot glued coordinating ribbon to it and two fire trucks I found at Hobby Lobby for a less than a buck.

Duck Dynasty Anyone???

It seems that Duck Dynasty keeps growing bigger and bigger!!!! I have seen them in the Christian book store, Walmart and they even have eye glasses you can choose from!!!! 

So with the growing fan base I am certain there will be Duck Dynasty themed parties and baby showers popping up everywhere.

Custom Made Baby Shower

There are tons of baby shower ideas out there, but this was a first for me...Vintage Batgirl!!! 

I was scratching my head as I made the files but once I got the photos of the shower it turned out SOOOO stinkin' cute!!!!

Peppa Pig Party Craze

Lately it seems this little pink pig is popping up everywhere! It is a British cartoon that all the little ones seem to adore. It might be that she has fun in muddy puddles... I thought I would share some Peppa Party ideas and supplies I have found to make a great birthday!

Fireman Birthday Party Ideas

So my little man loves firetrucks and I am planning his 3rd birthday in the firetruck theme. As I researched it there are tons of cute ideas out there. I thought I would share a few that I found along with the set I created for my little man. 

The set I created for my little man is available in my shop here. I include some blue accents that I love and then found the below cake on Pintrest that ties in the blue and Chevron (which I am totally addicted to right now!!!)

I found a great deal on kids fireman hats at Oriental Trading, you get 12 for only $6.

These 'match sticks' would be so cute in goodie bags or out on the snack table, what a great idea!!!

I absolutely adore the fire hydrant cups but unfortunately can not find them available anywhere, they have been discontinued  :-(

So if you come across any please let me know!!! 

Lastly I thought these would be a cute addition to the good bags with a firetruck color page. 

They are sold already made on etsy  or you could make your own... I found fire hydrant and fire truck molds here  at a great price that would be cute as crayons or chocolates!!!

Teacher Appreciation Gift - DIY

I had a friend ask if I could come up with something for her son's teacher for teacher appreciation week. She  likes owls.... owls, that's right up my alley!!! I came up with this:

Cute huh? I used Avery Brand Dark Fabric Transfer iron on paper, it worked surprisingly well. I have had problems in the past with other iron transfer printer paper sticking and not working at all, but this was a breeze! I am going to keep using this type for sure. The canvas bag was only $3.99 at Michaels, and they always have coupons, so you could make this even cheaper.

For the mason jar (from the dollar store) I just sized down the image and changed the wording on the top to 'Thanks for making me wiser'. Then printed on a full sheet of sticker paper and cut to size. Filled the jar with candy and tied pretty ribbons around the top...I absolutely love how it all turned out, one more easy gift to file for future quick ideas.

Monster Truck Party

This party was for a Christopher who loves monster trucks, but what boy doesn't??? The party was complete with bottle wrappers, cupcake toppers, banner, and bubbles.
